Then again, you confuse glitchy loopy beeping blooping with crap.

I know that's assanine but i can't help it
Get over it and get over the fact that Boul De Nerf owns you.
pwned, imho.

Nostalgic what do you think of the legions of people who think progressive (and dance music in general) is just a horrible combination of a kick drum, hi-hat, and repetitive synth sounds?
I'm honestly curious.

I am trying to improve your life by letting you know that minimal is bull, and I'm labeled an ''ignorant'' and an ''Kunt,'' and that's with the hipper spelling ''Kunt'' Probably some other secret minimal code.

I take it that ponsshin knows what makes the plink plonks of not progressive tech house significantly different than the plink plonks of minimal. Point taken. Those of us who aren't trained in the boring loopy music field would probably find his post pretty funny. After all the truth is that minimal has significantly more clicky plonks and less glitches and hissy drumloops than tech house. I stand corrected on that ponsshin but the fact of the matter is that listening to either of the two is like watching paint dry.
If you are like me and can't f**king stand electro house but aren't lost and brain dead enough to listen to minimal or tech house (apparently there is a difference) you've probably been longing for the days of real dance music the last few years. Now it is 2009. It is about f**king time some wonderful new sound comes along and takes over the scene. With the help of competent producers & musicians we can raise the scene back up from the deep slump it has fallen in.

^ If you're sick of "blip bloops" and want some melody and rich sounds in your music, listen to dubstep.

What exactly is your definition of "real dance music"
A healthy number of examples would be great, because I'm a DJ and I don't play the same 5 tracks at every gig no matter how good they are.

I can't believe that this argument is still going. It's been done to death millions of times.
For the record (and mostly because somebody called me out), I'm not sitting here defending "Minimal." Sure, I might spin what a lot of you would like to call Minimal, but I'm not going to sit here and argue my own personal opinion versus yours. Such arguments are utterly pointless because no two peoples tastes are ever identical.
Get over it. Fantastic music is out there, and just like I tried telling Existo, Stevesto and Mark Anthony need to get out there and dig for it. There's something for everyone, and bitching about it in a thread on TA isn't going to magically make it all go away. Take action if you want something to happen.

I don't care what they think because they don't listen to dance music therefore they don't know any better.

But you don't listen to bleep-bloop, therefore you don't know any better. If you just got deeper into bleep-bloop, you would appreciate its beauty and soul.

There is some truth to that. I'ts all so easy to criticize things we are not familiar with. Just like people who critcize hip-hop but don't know like this:
