The past couple of years late night clubbing I’ve suffered quite a bit of minimal. I used to think it was all my fault that I found it so unfathomable. I often wondered if there was something about my brain that kept me from liking this genre of music called minimal, from the micro house and tech house scene to the berlin school of music to the former brit progressive house scene trying to sound like the berlin school of music and everything between. I just couldn’t ing stand the genre minimal. As I grew older and more confident in the fact that most people other than me are idiots, it became crystal clear that the defect wasn’t mine. Make no mistake. Minimal is pointless, cheap, pretentious, and irredeemably ing dumb. Not most of it. All of it.
