Pretty sure thats the "minimal" OP is complaining about and referring to. They are all synonymous with stripped-down, minimal like musical properties/sounds. Compare 90s deep house to today, its like night and day.

uh not really
lots of deep house has been stripped down from the beginning. these are more minimalist than any so called 'minimal'. the only difference is 90s deep house is just better :p the new stuff is just boring and has no funk or groove
