Tell him to NOT call it glam. That's instant vibe-death right there with that talent he's bringing in.
At least be creative with a club name, too. :)
But then again, a vibe-death name like that assures better (although snobbish, hollywoods, want to be scene) attendance.

i was with them last friday when they were working on the website (http://vipclubsacramento.com/) and deciding on bookings. i think he wants to change the name to Glam though
anyways for march and april he is bringing in deep dish, andy moor, dj keoki, donald glaude, warp brothers, spekrfreks, beej, and more. i told him to book armin, ferry, above & beyond and sander van doorn -- we'll see ;)
will be nice to have some talent come to sacramento and to a venue where people go for the music |

| Anyone know what's up with the Danny Howell's date? It's still not on Ruby's website but it hasn't been replaced with anything either. I hope he's still coming!! |

Trying to see if that means he will 100% be here in SF. Guess that's the in the descript to use from the contract. |

danny howells is announced through the end of march on his website with the 30th still open. wouldn't that be a spundae night? anyway, i hope it still happens... his essential mix is fire!
flash bros will be a good one, then digweed & mstrkrft the next week, then hybrid the week after, then hernan... this is gonna be a GREAT month at ruby :eyespop: |

I know Spundae helped out with Danny the last time was here, but believe Ruby did the booking itself and then brought Spundae on for promoting. Dunno if Ruby has its own promotions team. I could be wrong, just never seen any then. Anyhow, believe Ruby will from time to time book a DJ itself and then hire a promoter to help out. :p
Anyway, Spundae events are one-offs that are usually on Fridays. From time to time you'll see a Thur, Sat, or Sunday one. |
