He's also rarely played in SF compared to other DJs. My guess is he just doesn't see SF as a big/important city to play in so he focuses on other cities for his weekend gigs. He's with Dave Lewis now (was with AM Only before), so we'll see if his focus changes down the road.
I'd say he doesn't have a huge draw in SF even today because his lack of appearances here in clubs. A gig like this might be what's best for him in building one; just it's at vessel. bleh.
