Wow '07 is already looking pretty great! I have to miss some stuff for a business trip.
I can't believe I have to choose between Icey and KvA!

At first I was like "he's at Avalon, damn you LA! Damn you all to hell!" until I was reading the comments and somebody mentioned it and I went back and did a double take. Last thing that happened south bay that I wanted to go to was Mike Koglin until I realized it was a 18+ massive. Let's hope this is a good event. |

Oh cool they finally announced the LoveFest date, I've known about the date since early December and was waiting for the announcement - which also must mean....
anyhow from what it appears it looks like it's several months ahead of last year's planning schedule which is great =)
btw the vibe and energy at get freaky parties are awesome =) |

it's very burningman....but the tribal west coast style...i love it. people really get dressed up, there are tonnes of hippies, it smells kind of funky, hoola hoops, crazy hot chicks with dread locks, and an insane vibe... if your comfortable with this kind of stuff of course...the opposite of ruby skye, minus the smoking hot girls ;-)
everyone will be dancing in all 4 rooms...in all seriousness, the people at get feaky really know how to party.
it features the best underground music in SF: glitch, freakbeat, breaks, trip hop, and the stuff you just don't hear elswhere....
my burningman crew is running the upstairs room - expect funk, hip-hop, breaks, and a live drum n bass show ;-) |

| best part about get freaky is everyone there knows how to dance and a lot of people have their own unique style. definitely something everyone has to experience once ;) |

that's the kind of party that I tend to enjoy more anyway. and get way more ed up at. and dance more at. can't wait.
places like Ruby Skye I just go there because the music is great. the atmosphere is way better than most other cities' clubs (from my limited experience) but nothing like it could be. |
