Hey Dave,

It's an outdoor block party in Modesto in it's 8th year. But I think they are not exclusive to EDM. I believe there are a lot of bands too and other forms of entertainment involved. |

Seriously. What a stupid choice as an opener. Not knocking on Dimitris here, but rather the styles being presented for the night.
Every once in a while, I have to scratch my head over the opener that's chosen at Ruby. |

THe X-Fest contains mainly rock bands but I think Sir Mix-A-Lot or Vanilla Ice was here last year. I'm from Modesto but never went to one of these X-fest events before but if they brought more DJs or EDM then I might check it out. 5 or 6 blocks in downtown is blocked off and attracts quite a crowd. It's a huge event for the locals here. |

OH in-a I just noticed Taj and Dirtyhertz are opening for Ferry at Ruby in June!
