hehe nahh. Once I realized he wasnt even reading what I wrote (or at least, conceptualizing what I wrote) I called it a day. Defeats the purpose of an educated back-and-forth, because the person just ends up looking foolish. He had zero solid points the entire conversation, so I knew this topic was wasting time and thread space with useless banter.

a lot of questions answered, a lot of questioned raised with argentina.
can messi do well? yes. can argentina make something out of all the scoring threats? yes.
but on the other side, can they stay composed in the back for 90 minutes? is walter samuel going to be okay?
either way, great result. higauin used to play for river plate in argentina (my team!) so i'm going crazy over here!
what i want to know is how group A will finish up - anything can happen, and 2nd place in that group is going to go up against the albiceleste!

i think uruguay will finish 1st place in group a by a difference of goals. they will face argentina in the next round and argentina will win 2 - 0. i hope. hehehe.
i didn`t have a chance to watch the 2nd time, but do u know if aguero entered the game? he didn´t play against nigeria... |

i changed my post to english lol.
but i watched it at home. i`m not living in ny anymore, i moved back home and before i go to work i watch the 1st part then the 2nd part, but im screwed because i have nowhere to watch the 2nd part (i´m driving to work!)...however, at work we bought a 42" lcd tv to watch all the games!!! hahah
when i lived in ny i used to go to nevada smith all the time to watch river, barza and arg play!! good times! :haha:
but its definitely not an argentinian bar, when i saw mex vs arg i remember this mexican girl slapped me bc i accidentally dropped my beer on her chest...that was the goal messi did that went over the goalies head..that was such a classic game, dont know if u guys remember.. :crazy: |
