Suarez did what any one of us would have done. This is the World Cup,he knew the consequences and he got the red card. It would not be such an issue if the Ghana player made the penalty shot, but he missed.
I may have been the only person at the bar rooting for Uruguay today. People Ghana beat the USA, why would I be rooting for them. |

i've been avoiding this thread because i know all it is is kelly celebrating. But I gotta say, regarding the intentional hand ball... that guy deserves MVP of the match. He saved the game!!! He took one for the team, got the red card, and Ghana missed the PK. then they missed 2 more!!! I mean , they did it to themselves. the frail , yo.
Ghana choked worse than ________________________ i'll leave it to your imagination |

Atleast Ghana wasn't as disappointing as Brazil, IMO. |

The refs have been awful...but this was not an example. He got red carded and a PK was awarded. What else (under the rules) did you want? |

the card-effect-result is irrelevant; it was a distraction
to a defining factor in that match: a goal made by ghana,
and even more important a victory of the african country,
trully ironic how a lame act by both the uruguayan and
a referee can have in the aspirations/work of so many |
