Maxi is in the 23.
Cambiasso didn't make the cut
obviously Riquelme wasn't going to go
but i'm more worried about our defense.

what about Gabi Milito. He recovered on time, he has fresh legs
and he had some good last games with Barcelona; Zanetti, yes he is a bit old, but he is in tremendous shape with Inter and the experience of the nerazurri captain who just won the treble... |

true, i read somewhere he wasn't coming.
i'm surprised cambiasso didnt make the cut. and why do we need g/ milito when we have the better brother? hehehe
heinze has always been a great defender, i'm not sure why u are judging him. but i agree, i think we have a rather weak defense. sooner or later it will get us. for now the formation we used against nigeria made up for a weak defense with mascherano in the middle. |

USA played a superb game! they really stepped it up- eager to watch them get passed to the 2nd round. HOWEVER, they got lucky as fuq one can be. that goal was a careless mistake by the goalkeeper; the ball was wet n simply slipped thru. shouldve positioned himself facing towards the ball n bring it into his chest.
at least it was to tie the game or else... |
