Warum gibts eigentlich keinen Review-Thread?
Eigentlich wurde alles wichtige bereits gesagt, trotzdem mal noch ein paar Worte von mir:
Es war alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Abend, aber nicht so geil wie im Dezember. Sehr gutes und eher progressiv gehaltenes Warmup-Set vom Paule, aber leider fast zu voll zum tanzen (besonders ärgerlich wenn man nicht so groß ist, aber es gab ja zum Glück dieses Podest in der Mitte). Nick Warren war für mich musikalisch der Höhepunkt. Zum Glück wurde es da auch schon leerer, sodass man seinem Bewegungsdrang ungehindert nachgehen konnte. Danach der übliche Paule.

Fand ich auch, diesmal waren nichtmal die guten alten Music Safes unbedingt nötig, alles klar und sauber.
Leider wollten meine Beine diesmal nicht so, wie ich wollte und es war schon recht früh wieder Schluss.
Vielen Dank auch nochmal an DJHypermaniac für die nette Unterkunft und an flyaway fürs Mitnehmen! :) |

Also ich bin auch mal wieder restlos begeistert!
Wollten eingentlich auch mal ins IBIS kommen aber irgendwie
haben wir es dann doch verdamelt und dann wars auch schon Zeit
fürs Casino! Also für so eine Party lohnt sich doch der weite Weg!!

Have to say this was the best Vandit Night I've been to so far (December was ruined for me due to personal reasons). Nick Warren played the best progressive set I've heard for ages, and it was so refreshing to hear good driving progressive again after being tormented by so many boring wishy washy progressive tracks that have been released recently. (Your Love 2003 OMFG I TRY, I CRY AND I DIE) My feet were absolutely shattered after he finished. And what the ing hell did he play as intro to his last track?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! It sounded like someone had opened a floodgate of brainblistering synths and melodies with head FX on top :eyes:
Paul's set was a mixed bag as usual. Some very good and pounding parts, others were quite dull. Fortunately the former was in the majority this time, and I truly enjoyed myself as Paul smilingly (Koks or stfu) mixed his way through the night with lots of fresh tunes I hadn't heard before and some classics that were just beautiful, St.Etienne in particular Also worth mentioning are those sick techno tracks he pounded out at 9 in the morning, pure madness.
I felt the crowd was a lot more friendly this time too, which may have been due to the fact that things weren't as rammed as it usually is in Casino when Paul's around. The whole no top-trend in a club for guys MUST stop though. It's not sexy with a 100KG sweaty man prowling around in a club, it's just disgusting.
What can I say, yet another succesful trip to Berlin. Won't be the last one for sure, next up LFA. Can't wait! |
