haha you guys, I like the Cavliers of UVA and was glad to see they won. I missed the FL-TEN game (I cashed out early) but saw most of the days action. Wouldve loved to see Whitehurst and Clemson beat Miami, they just couldn't get it done when it counted and had to play catchup at the end of regulation. I chose UCLA over Oklahoma and MSU over Notre Dame, but also had The Volunteers. I didn't think BC would win, but I'm glad they made it close...the Acc is looking strong this year, as is the SEC.

Ohio State won after giving up an 80 yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage. They looked very sloppy, turning it over at least twice and being held out of the end zone a couple times. Next week, we draw #23 Iowa, a tough Big 10 test

Also I think VT has a good shot but may have trouble in the Championship game for some reason I can see them crash in that

Also I think WVU is going to be good but watch out for Pitt. Yes I know they are off to a awful start but look they are 0-3 now going into a 5 game stretch that includes. USF Youngstown State, Cinncy, Rutgers and Syracuse. Which would give them and 5 game run heading into the Louisville game. After Louisville they have UCONN and WVU. So watch out they are a good team but just getting off to a bad start I smell comeback.

Not so fast my friend(to myself:wtf) but UCONN looks good to and can beat out WVU. They have a QB that is off the charts and their D is respectable and their new stadium can play a factor in a game now that place gets loud I hear. They just played respectable for a team that was in 1-AA like 2 years ago away in a loss to #16 Georgia Tech. Also they have Louisville last and have Army next to boost their momentum.

me and you need to work for ESPN!

yeah I would never let my guard down on Pittsburgh. They are a tough team and can be very formidable. Also playing against Syracuse may be a challenge, b/c Syracuse is one of those iffy teams. When VT was in the Big EAST, there were some close games between VT and Syracuse, Can't always assume a win...

...course you can say that about pretty much every college football game. Look at TCU and Oklhoma. What happened?

oh yeah and you're right about teams playing out of thier conerences. Like the Miami- Florida State game. Miami is in the Coastal Division and FSU is in the Atlantic division, it's just their continuing their in-state rivalry. Also we'll play Boston College and Maryland who aren't in our division but we used to play BC in the BIG EAST so it's just continuing that tradition.

yeah we need to work for ESPN.

Syracuse plays well but I think they will win every Big East game besides the Pitt and Louisville game. And depending on how they are going into the UCONN game will determine if they win or lose.

They are not strong at all at any posistion except maybe running back. Everyone else is either average or has potential like the QB.

Very impressed by USC last night maybe the first tough team to play since Hawaii and we know how that turned out. They have Oregon next week which contrary to everyone else I belive that it will be another lopsided win for the Trojans again.

SEC looks strong this year but dont think Florida or Tenn could compete with VT, FSU, USC and even Miami. Big Ten will bounce back and how about Penn State. Joey P got them back on track it seems this year with good wins over ty opponents which wasnt the case in the previous years. They have Northwestern next then a tough 3/4 game stretch with Minnesota, OSU, Michigan and Illinois. They aparently have a good team lets see how they do would love for Joey P to do well since I think the bashing he gets isnt deserved. Yes he should retire after this year but he is one of the greatest coaches ever.

All I want to say is... YOU FULMER!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Gators got the sorry-ass Volunteers and they are on their way to a 2-game losing streak as they have to go to LSU next week. Have fun in the bottom of the SEC!

t about ND... I thought they were gonna win with the momentum after coming back from 14 down.

Didn't get the FSU/BC game but wouldn't have watched anyway with the UF/Tenn game on.

Oklahoma is pathetic.

My ideal situation is to have either Florida or Louisville play USC in the title game, but I think Louisville has a better shot to get there.

Don't think there are any marquee matchups this weekend coming up so maybe I can get some work done on a Saturday haha.

Cheers,
Terry

Who thinks they should start the rankings of the top 25 after 2 weeks or 3....just another thing I think that NCAA Football needs to fix. Dont get me started on the BCS(biggest iest ):wtf:

everything NCAA football does is gay.Ive always said the polls should come out after week 1 at least, but the only reason they have preseason polls are for the TV purpose, they wanna hype a game and brainwash people into thinkin they are really the #2 and #3 teams or whatever for ratings. Most College fans are gullible enough to accept the BCS and bull polls without protest in the most part so its a loss cause....
Dumbest is hearin FSU fans gloat that they went #1 from preseason to chapionship game in 99 , like if that was the greatest ever, the only ones that should be proud of that are the poll voters themselves.
oh and lets please stop with these god damn polls, only sport in the world that depends on a computer and n media to decide a championship

i think it is closer than people will predict, but no .. at least the margin will be less than 2 touchdowns .. .. hahhahaa ..

but i think usc will lose after oregon ... either against arizona st or arizona .. there's some funny mystique going around in the arizona air that makes opponents not play their best games ...

Because of Hurricane Rita and the postponement of the LSU-Tennessee game, College Gameday has moved to Virginia Tech this saturday for the VT -Georgia Tech game.

Look for flavdave and myself. I'm going to be behind Lee and Kirk waving a huge VT flag! :D

SWEET! Im definitly gonna look. Make A Sign this is for my TA niggaz or mention my TA name. Ill give you a big kiss next time I see you:wtf:

Also the Sugar Bowl was moved to Atlanta or Baton Rouge (my guess Atlanta) this year.

USC will destroy Oregon, seems to me that this is their first test and they will want to make a statement. I see no way USC will lose a game this year. The Pac-10 is pure pure pure donkey doo.

Definte game of the day with be Tech vs Tech. I see VT winning by a touchdown.

Upsets: Oregon beating ASU, Illini over the Spartans,

2 that I wouldnt be suprised that could happen but wouldnt put money on would be:

Kentucky beating Florida
Wisconsin over Michigan
^both are home and Florida is coming over a big win so maybe too much celebrating, I like the Badger cuz there home as well and I think Henne will be rusty again...
