They have 2 heisman potential winners for this year 1 already has won it. With that type of offense you can come back on any team.

I never said I did classify Notre Dame as a championship contender. I don't think anyone expected the stellar performance they've been having this year (as opposed to last years dismal season), but even NotreDame isn't a high-enough caliber team to contend with the top 5 teams right now. Seeing USC and Notre Dame play is like watching #14 battling against the #22 team in the land.

Heisman hype has nothing to do with winning ball games. All the Heisman does is make 1 individual player stand out from the rest of his team. It's not a collective effort. 1 player does not equal the entire football team.

USC can beat the following NFL teams: Texans, entire NFC North, 49ers, Raiders and the Jets

Never. The worst NFL team will always beat the best college team.
InterMilan31
Yeah but when you have the best QB and best RB in the land you will defeat most teams, other teams have to stop both which is very tough to do. USC will be the champs mark my word.

dave no they wont I dont listen to you since your last perdiction:p Although watch USC bite me on the ass

agreed

the only time i thought a college team had a remote chance to beat a pro was in 2001 with the Canes and the Bengals

Ben its all an illusion , just like with overated Collge QBs and overated heisman trophy winners.
College players will be overmatched against pros, even if a pro teams offence sucks, their defence is far superior to any college o-line.

alot has been posted during my 20 minute nap, i cant sleep 2night :(

I say USC will lose in the title game...

Reggie Bush is phenomenal, I'll give you that. But Leinart is far from perfect this year. I'd hardly call him the best QB in the land.

USC's offense may be good, but it's defense that wins games, and this year i've seen plenty of cracks in their defense.

according to the rules yes it shoudve been a flag

but it wasnt really much of a push i guess. Refs usually forget about this rule and let it slide

So is that what the Noter Dame fans are saying Im refusing to call it Notre because they dont prenounce it correctly lol

You lost it was heartbreaking but deal with it you will win a NC in the next 4 years with Weis as your HC

#3 VT vs Maryland tonight

even though the Terps will be looking for revenge over last years embarrassing 55-6 loss, the Hokies will hold them and outscore them again.

I don't expect a blowout like last year, though

Yay Michigan State! :haha:

Hah what ablowout by Northwestern. And I don't understand UVA.. they go and get beat by Maryland, then they beat Florida State, and then today they get beat by North Carolina...

:conf:

Michigan and Iowa was a good game, but i was flipping back and forth between Michigan State/N'westrn & Ohio St/Indiana

Texas Tech/Texas going to be a goodone, but Texas will win.

i made it down to south bend for the notre dame/byu game and i enjoyed what i saw. got to see quinn set a school record with six td passes. plus on the ride down there we followed the police escort for the BYU football team all the way down there. needless to say we made good time doing around 85 mph with no one getting in our way. :p
