Should but I think they are waiting silently for that Big Ten invite and if that ever happens -unlikely they would jump on it.
I hate Notre Dame but I do want them to become the Notre Dame of old it sorta sucks to see them do so poorly its like if the Yankees sucked for years in baseball, cowboys in football, Lakers & Knicks in Basketball, etc |

Kirk Ferentz has put together a very good team, but don't look for them to get by a Big Ten opening date in Columbus against the Buckeyes.
Speaking of the Buckeyes, they looked good against Miami, OH, but Justin Zwick made some judgement errors. Will Troy Smith start aginst Texas? That game is going to be HUGE.
Shockley from Gerogia really impressed me, as did Omar Jacobs from Bowling Green. Michigan's defense was shockingly bad against Northern Illinois, though they did rack up some turnovers. Big game Monday night...can't hardly wait. |

Buckeyes to me seemed reallly shakey against Miami ohio and I think Troy Smith is serving a 2 game suspension but not 100% sure about it so he would miss that game if Im right. Omar Jacobs lived up to my hype :)
Also Notre Dame v Michigan and Ohio St v Texas will be grrrrrreat next weekend. Va Tech especially Vick looks pretty good. NC State hangin in though. Is Vick a senior or junior or sophmore all they keep talking about is his bro and how he was suspended last year nothing about what year he is in. |

big ten offered them awhile ago. notre dame would lose a bunch of money by joining any conference because of the tv rights to their games and licensing for their apperal. |

actually Ben I dont really follow it anymore like I used to, if it wasnt for the fact that I go to UM, id probably diss it alltogether, but how can i not love tommorows game, will it be a wide right?left? maybe this year somethin new, the kick will miss by coming up short.
But yeah BCS(and the system be4) was always a turnoff, whats the point of watching a season when we all know at the end nobody will agree on whos playin for the title.And itll be a crapfest of a game most likely.

Tressel is a very conservative coach. I'm suprised he opened up the field as much as he did.
Also the Miami, OH game was Smith's second game of his suspension. The first was last years Alamo Bowl. |

Florida St 10 - Miami 7
Florida State just blocked a punt and have the ball inside the 5. This has been a great game although not what you might call sportsmanlike.
Great way to kick off this year.
EDIT - FSUs kicker just missed a 26 yard field goal after the blocked punt. Amazing. |
