2. The missed safety. A Longhorn returner took the ball out of the endzone and thus couldn't down it. He was nearly tackled for a safety, but escaped for a 20 yard return.
3. Ryan Hamby's dropped touchdown pass. He caught it and it popped out, then he got it again, only to have the ball jarred loose. Texas' safety made a great play, but the first was an easy catch and should have been had.

Thats a lose man come on dude own up to it. Almost every team change that every team I support in all sports is a losing team.

1. Missed field goal is a miss no excuse just because it was short
2. Missed tackles/safety not a good excuse
3. dropped passes? Welcome to football my friend

Dude I like your effort but excuses are like bad ref calls and injuries

Also Ive seen a bunch of OSU games this year and they look to me less than impressive. Against Miami(oh) they kept them in the game for about the first half. Buckeyes will lose to Michigan State I think and maybe another game.

If your gonna talk about the National Championship there is only 3 teams you can mention. Florida, Va Tech and USC, the only teams that have won their games impressive enough to deserve their ranking. Florida I belive will lose, Va Tech and USC wont. USC could beat half the NFL teams right now, their Pac 10 division is a joke, ASU, Cal and UCLA are all a illusion, the Pac 10 is very overated besides USC.

Virigina Tech - USC championship game this year unless injuries. Stop the USC bashing, stop the Notre Dame bandwagoning, Im hate Notre Dame but not a hater; they have all of Willingham's guys and Weis is a great coach. Wait til he gets his players there and then jump on it. And lets give it up to Vagina Tech they have been:eyes: I want Vick on the Jets :p

i laughed at the Vagina Tech comment.

i think you can mention Texas in the national title hopes since they are number two right now. i just have a feeling that the same thing that happened to auburn last year is going to happen to someone this year. personally im rooting for texas vs. va tech because i want to see young and vick match up.

about weis, i heard he locked up a qb out of chicago that everyone is comparing to mcnabb. so maybe they redshirt him next year while quinn is still there.

Sweet match up there. Texas you know I just dont like them. Ive seen this alot with them for the past 10 years. They have great teams but always find a reason to fail and end up playing in the Cotton bowl or some .

I think there's some misinterpretation here so I'm going to clarify.

Texas won the game at Ohio State. Their defense kept the Buckeyes out of the endzone for a majority of the game and kept their offense close enough for Vince Young to lead a legendary drive at the end of the game. However, Ohio State gave the game away by missing the oppurtunities i listed above. Converting any one of them turns the game around entirely. Yes, they did not convert any of them.

I don't mind that they're not undefeatedand and I still argue that they're in the national title chase, but on the outside looking in. I believe Ohio State can hang with any team in the country and beat any of them if the gods or whatever are on their side that day. There's alot of football to be played and alot of dangerous roads for teams to traverse. If six or seven of the top 7 lose, Ohio State has proven themselves more than worthy of consideration. Six or seven of those teams losing is not unthinkable.

i think it's still a little too early to discuss championship bowl matchups. There's still a lot of great football games left.

not that i'm saying there's anything wrong with making guesses now, I just think that anything can happen (and DID happen, look at Oklahoma!).

But that's what makes this whole sport fun... probabalities and key matchups.

As an OSU fan you should know the way things work most of the time. When Michigan is in position to win the Big Ten and make it to the national championship, OSU upsets them. This year Michigan is already done, which means they're going to whoop the out of OSU at the end of the year.

Besides, OSU has a few tough matchups and they could lose any one, two, or three of them: at PSU (night game), MSU, at Minnesota, and at Michigan.

Some thoughts on the early games. Probably you all are watching baseball. Anyways VT looks mighty good against WVU not many teams can go to WVU and win like this.

Texas was struggling now just scored a TD to create a bit of a gap. This Michigan MSU game is the best of the afternoon. Waiting til USC ASU so the Trojans can prove the critics here on TA :P wrong again.

Good leopold I sorta did that ava for you! Show you a real hot women! :P

VAGINA TECH - USC - National Championship *Screw Texas & Florida*:toocool:
