who says that bush is going to houston ? hahhahaa .. i think houston is going to win one more game, and san fran is going to lose the rest of their games .
san fran picks reggie bush to go along with alex smith and brandon lloyd, and houston picks up matt leinert. |

Mark you calendars now. Sunday, January 1st. New year's day...
The day when the #1 pick is decided as Houston travels to San Francisco to take on the 49ers :p
Odds are, the loser of that game will get the #1 pick |

I think USC is going to win the championship again this year. Earlier this year (and in this thread actually) I mentioned how USC wasn't reall playing up to their caliber and shouldn't be ranked at # 1, let alone in the top 5. Sloppy plays and sluggish defense in the first part of this season have melted away, and we now have one serious performing team.
I dunno, but i was more impressed by USC's dominating wins over both Fresno State and UCLA, then i was by Texas' manhandling of Colorado.
Early pick, but I see USC winning out. |

| yeah i think usc is going to demolish texas... i say by at least 21 points (and no im not joking). if usc just gives the ball to reggie every time, they will score every time they have the ball |

Joe Paterno was named this year's AP Coach of the year.
You all know that Paterno has taken alot of over the last few years. I personally have called for his ousting, thinking he was too old, too out of touch, that the game had passed him by. Many at the university had at least started to wonder if maybe the old boy shouldn't retire, and at most viciously called for his ousting.
Here is what Paterno said when questioned about his calling out his critics:
"To be honest, I really have never thought that way. It's not my nature," he said. "I'm not a vindictive guy. I don't read the papers. I realize the media's got a job to do and I realize the alumni, if they're interested in your program, are going to die when you lose and so forth, and a lot of them get carried away.
"What good does it do for me to say, 'I told you so.'"
What a classy coach, and despite the fact that they beat Ohio State this year, I'm glad Joe Pa was able to put together such a strong squad. I hope Penn State wins in the Orange Bowl. |

Show some respect, it's Vagina Tech. Don't confuse us with the Cavaqueers! |

I'm a little shocked that the outcome was this harsh. I didn't expect Vick to be permanently suspended, but still what he did to Dumervil shouldn't have gone unpunished.
Vick has been immature in the past, with his legal infractions, but I thought he really pulled himself together this season. It's unfortunate that this happened. |
