| Oxy Contin's are the best thing ever for a plane. A little itchy but very good. |

I bet you that there's more disabled people because of poor lifestyle choices than born-disabled. |
That may well be, but disabled people who became disabled due to reckless behaviour still can't choose now to stop being disabled. Fatty McDoubleAss (I like that one) can start jogging today and probably drop 30 pounds over the next month.
There's a difference between saying that people should be accountable for their choices and their mistakes, and saying that they should have to pay for the rest of their lives. Unless you spent your entire life doing something self-destructive (like smoking), I do think at least some sympathy is in order.

May I suggest a mixture of johnny walker and formula 44D with the first meal to ensure a smooth quiet flight for everyone involved ??? |
If you're unlucky enough to have one of those screaming kids directly behind you kicking your seat every 20 seconds, I recommend heroin. |

No, but having court imposed laws does jeopardize that.
As i said. If you dont feel democracy is worth defending then dont live in one. If you do, then concern yourself with those who are trying to whittle it away in the name of whatever cause they feel justifies it. If you havnt already noticed, my complaints are almost always about people who would see fit to take away my freedoms and choices. They are quite consistent. |
How on earth does a fat person getting an extra seat affect your choices?
You are stretching it with this one, just admit it. |

we were talking about court imposed laws at this point which has every effect imaginable on a democracy. Quit trying to twist my words ;) |

LOL says the guy who says no child under 10 should be on a plane.
I was offering a more reasonable solution than your banathon sir :p
What's so wrong with an area reserved especially for families? They do it in restaurants.

Xanax ftw on long haul flights! Sure helps with the screaming tots and uncomfy seats. |

<3 the honest responses...
it seems most travellers have their own 'techniques' for dealing with 'uncomfortable' passengers.
I still can't help but feel for the parents... anyone posting here who has a picture/s of a parent/s travelling with two liabilities that does/do not look like the living dead please post pics!!!!
ASIDE!!!
We can still be selfish and Selfliss at the same time!!!! Kids are cool and infinately complicated...let those who have the balls to create and raise'em have a little slack. Point being...I can tollerate someone elses kids for an 8 hour flight....because I can't say for SURE that I can tolerate my OWN kid before I am ready etc.....
Let's go back to appreciating Nature's indescrimination can we?!?!?! |

I don't think it's so much the kids I can't tolerate as it is the parents who do nothing to calm them. Planes still freak me out so imagine what it's like for a kid?
When the planes take off and land the changing air pressure hurts their little ears but I learned if you have your kiddo suck on a bottle or soother it pops their ears and alleviates the pain.
That or put a little bit of wine in your kids bottle....puts them right to sleep! :p |

You make it sound so simple, there's also simple solution for disabled people too... but I don't want to go there.
Please someone make a nazi reference so we can end this thread in a old fashioned way:p |

A solution to the oil crisis: kill all the obese people and use their body fat as oil? We did it with the whales! |

| Oh man, when I was flying to London earlier this year (9hr flight), I had a screaming child in the seat in front of me. Normally I don't care bc I have my headphones on. But this kid screamed above the volume of my headphones for the ENTIRE FLIGHT!!! Only stopping when the parents took him to the bathroom and during food... it was horrible! They would put headphones on him to watch the movie and he would scream during that! Yeesh! |

| i usually put earplugs then the headphones, earplugs muffs lots of the ambiant noise... then you cover it up with some nice music ;D |

What you seem to be insinuating doesn't have any logical connection to the text you quoted. You only tied it together with the word "simple". Flimsy segue at best.

Or, give them liposuction and use the fat for soap. |
