Obese have right to 2 airline seats: Canada court (pg. 4)

They should make a giant fat person seat, the size of two put together, then charge twice, no, more than twice, the price for it. If they can afford to get that ing fat, then they can afford to pay more money for a seat.
Following that, they should implement a policy that stipulates each passenger should be able to fit within their sepicific seat parameters. Failure to do so would result in an automatic upgrade to the fat person seat. This can be justified because the airline is responsible for the safety and comfort of all its' passengers; the only way to ensure passenger safety, particularly in the case of the fat person, is to have a seat large enough to accommodate said fat person. The airline leaves itself open to fat person lawsuits after the aforementioned fat people injure their backs on the gap between seats while reaching for a second meal.

Personally I think you should have to have a "doctors note" to get the two seats.

lol as funny as that sounds, let me explain:

As mentioned in the thread, some people are obese NOT by choice. They will eat healthy, exercise, etc....but their weight is affected by something they cant control (ie: genes, chemical balance, thyroid problems, etc....)

I think that people who dont have a CHOICE in being large should be treated fairly (as a disablity)......but people who are just lazy and chow down on Whoppers and White castle should not benefit from this. Like Kai Lee said, someone will have to pay for it, and I dont think its fair to pay for a person's lifestyle choices.

In other words, people who have a physicians review that their obesity, in fact, can NOT be controlled, should have more freedoms than fat ass heffers. :tongue2

Total bull. If you let yourself get that fat and disgusting and you need two seats, then you should be paying for two seats. Why do we have to pay for your obesity??? Do they get a loveseat for the same price as a La-Z-Boy lounger too???

I am all for this.....besides....I think you would think differently if you had to sit beside the person who was too big for their seat, making your trip and their trip uncomfortable. Maybe its time the airlines made larger seats.

Pathetic is a society that allows people to consume so much, and be so fat. Maybe one community service hour for every extra pound; ing streets would be squeaky clean.
