T-Mobile G2 by Google hitting T-Mobile soon. Sucks that its a slow processor.
If I read somewhere correctly... its the first phone that could be used for 4G speeds. |

OK, I gotta figure out what Ive installed thats killing my bat life of late...
Leaving my phone unplugged over night (100% when pass out around midnight) leaves it around 70-75% at 8 in the morning when i finally check (after hitting snooze on my phone too many times lol) |

I had to whip my whole phone and reinstall apps. Its a pain in the ass. |

Another friend just got an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S on Bell) over the weekend.
Love seeing so many friends now getting Android phones! :) |

The above mentioned friend switched to Bell from Rogers for this phone...
And to say she's loving the out of this phone is a massive understatement!!
I havent gotten a chance to play around with it yet, but hoping to do so very soon so I can see what I think of Samsung Android phones!
Looks pretty bad ass, esp with either 8 or 16GB onboard memory for storing apps and . Only thing it appears to lack is a proper flash for its camera, neh? (That kinda blows)

If so, I bet its much better (more BlackBerry-ish?) than the optical one used on the HTC Desire, which is kinda iffy and sketchy I found when playing around with it a couple weekends ago.
(Lack of a tackpad for scrolling thru / selecting text is the only feature I lament missing on my Moto Milestone... there's a D-pad you can use (which is great), but only available when you have hte physical keypad extended, which I never do! :mad: ) |

| No, the home button doesn't do that. But I mean, scrolling/tracking is pretty efficient. Also, there is a select/cut/copy text function. I think having an extra scroll button would be redundant. |

I think im confused... its the center piece the home button and (or?) trackpad?
And i have select/cut/copy text function on my milestone :) but its use would be sooo much better and precise if had a pad... (technically we do, but u hafta have the keypad slided out to access it :()

WIND has been rumoured to be bringing on the Android-powered Motorola Milestone XT720. We first saw this in an internal screenshot a few weeks ago… We’re not to sure the authenticity of this image but everything looks to be correct and seems that training has started.
Still no word on price points or when this will be released, early rumours have it launching during the week of September 23rd. Specs have this running OS 2.1, 3.7 inch display with a resolution of 480×854, WiFi, 8MP camera, auto-focus, flash and records HD 720p videos and can hold up to 32GB with a microSD card.
Nice to see Wind expanding their lineup and bringing on more powerful Android devices.

The home button is the home button and nothing more. My point is that a trackpad would be redundant because you do all that with your fingers on the touch screen. When you press and hold down on a screen with text, a menu pops up to select/cut/copy/etc text, which allows you to quickly highlight specific text. Furthermore, you can zoom in on text within web pages and stuff by "spreading" out your fingers on the screen. Also, all you have to do to "roll around text" is slide whatever you're looking at around the screen. I hope that makes sense, lol. |

Ya it does jenny. I know exactly what you mean now, its exactly the same with my phone (android phones).
I guess for selecting text or moving around text I wuold just find it handy to be able to scroll back or forward now and then instead of trying to position the cursor with my finger (which is often imprecise and means i hafta tap 3 or 4 times to get the cursor where i want it oftentimes) |
