Galaxy SII is as good or better.
Orko
Its a toss up between the Galaxy Nexus, or Galaxy S2. The screen is higher resolution on the Nexus, but almost everything else on the S2 is better.

No need to have barcode scanner. Just use Google Goggles ;)

imo:
1. Galaxy Nexus - doesn't win in all the hardware categories but the direct Google support perks are huge
2. Galaxy Note - beast of a phone as long as you like the big screen
3. Motorola Droid Razr - If you're cool with springing for an LTE data plan it's pretty sweet, slim too
4. HTC Rezound - Good all around phone, not the biggest HTC fan but it's decent
5. Galaxy SII - Great phone, but in the Android world you're bumped from the #1 spot within months

I'd probly put the Galaxy SII HD LTE at #2 when out in North America...

Another reason to love Android and the smaller ISP's. Acanac gives you a free voip account with every internet connection.

I just put the settings into my Nexus S (running android 4.0.3) and I was able to make calls no problem. Hello free unlimited long distance in North America.

I've got ICS running on my Adam (tablet) and my Nexus S now.

What a sweet OS. So fast and smooth. Even though I am using 'alpha' builds, its still very very sweet.
