Does anyone know if you were to purchase outright an American Nexus is it more or less the same as the one we'd get here? I'm thinking of doing that when it's official down there instead of waiting for it to come out up here as I'll be buying it sans contract regardless...
Orko
If they follow tradition, the Nexus should be fully unlocked from the time of purchase.

Same as the Glaxay S II yeah? It doesn't feel awkward or huge at all. In fact, I find it easier to manipulate (especially for texting, using the internets, etc) because of the added size. Plus it's noticably thinner which balances it out. Also I have small hands. :o

Nah I think the Galaxy Nexus has a bigger screen than the SII.

4.65" ... so a bit bigger.

But its really thin as well, and since has no wasted space for physical or capacitive buttons its doesnt feel "that" much bigger than the GSII ive read.

My friend has a Nexus, and the difference in size compared to the SII is negligible for sure.

Just put an alpha build of ICS on my Nexus S.

Best mobile OS ever. Cannot wait for proper build from Google.

Things to look forward to:
- super fast/slick
- offline gmail search
- new UI is beautiful (including new font)
- new task manager is easy to use (but icons need to be smaller)
- consistent swipe side-to-side, easy getting used to
- lots lots more

Tell me about it. Most beautiful and best mobile OS out there now!

January cannot come soon enough! (when Telus will *finally* get the Galaxy Nexus)

I'm dying have it as my next phone... :D:D:D

I hope somebody will port ICS to the Nokia N9. Then we can have the best looking OS on the best looking phone.
