Yeah, we only ordered on Dec 3rd. Mine said 7-8 weeks, assumed I wouldn't get it till the new year :( Was hoping kinda that they were just saying that and I could have it as a Christmas present to myself...

No tracking, or charged credit card yet according to my Google wallet.

Got mine yesterday. Within 1-2 weeks as promised. My CC was charged when the device shipped.

Very smooth. Comparable to an iphone 5 I'd say. Fast even when you have many apps running. Only issue I have is with the battery meter. I don't think it's very accurate. It was at 15% last night and I watched a 5 min youtube video. When the vid was almost done I got a warning saying only 2% was left. Plugged in the charger and then the phone got hot. I mean ridiculously hot... so I quickly powered off and unplugged the charger. I waited 10 minutes for it to cool down and charged again. No problems after that. I'm going to monitor this over the next few charge-discharge cycles to see if the problem persists. I'm also going to look into different battery meter apps... anyone know any good ones?

Lithium-ion batteries do not charge/discharge at a linear rate. 100-90% is really like 40% of the capacity of the battery. Also, most phones use rapid charging from 0 through 80%. The phone will get very very hot during that time. To test that, when your phone is almost dead, plug it into a usb port on a computer, and it won't charge nearly as fast, and won't get nearly as hot.

I found the built in battery app in Android to be very useful and accurate. I know Smuncky uses a pretty detailed app, so maybe he can point you in the right direction.

i use that one as well. very detailed. i also like that it generates avg battery life. so you don't have to guess at how long your battery usuallly lasts.

i've also read that performance of the battery will get better over time.
