I'm taking this back. Cyanogenmod is merely good in some ways but terrible in others. Touchwiz is just all around, and so is Samsung. How the SGSII won any sort of award is beyond me.
Should've gotten a Windows Phone instead. Or the Nokia N9 with Maego. Unless an actually good Android phone comes out, that does everything the way a phone is supposed to do them, I'll be jumping ship to something else. |

I screwed up flashing my phone, but it still did the OTA update :D Lost everything but, didn't take long to reinstall all the apps and setup everything again. |

Well now that I've been on the S3 for nearly 2 months I gotta say that it's been a much better experience than my S2 which lasted me 6 months before crapping out.
Anyone else have the S3? How do you like it so far? I recently switched to Cyanogenmod 10, and the phone feels so much better with Touchwiz (and Bell bloatware) gone. Jellybean + Nova Prime launcher is awesome, and I discovered some sick apps that really take the smartphone experience to the next level.
Cerberus security system is so much better than any other security/phone track app out there, and Llama Location-based Profiles is just awesome. It detects where I am, and proceeds to change up my phone settings depending on where I am. For example, if I'm at home between the hours of 8am and 10pm then it switches my sounds to normal, turns off my mobile data and turns on my wifi. Between 10pm and 8am the sounds are switched to the lowest setting automatically. If I leave my house, mobile data comes on and wifi is turned off. Upon arriving at work mobile data goes off and wifi comes on, and the volume goes off too. Sick app. |

| I'll be getting the S3... soonish. The 4G version will be released here in AUS soon, so I'm holding out for that. Gotta say, I'm REALLY looking forward to upgrading from my old HTC Desire :stongue: |

I ended up getting the Nexus 7 tablet, it is pretty good. I have yet to play any graphic intense games. It runs quite smoothly, I still find it to heavy. I think ASUS should have went the NEC route and used carbon fibre.
One thing, I am waiting for Chameleon to have more widgets. It seems like a good app for $10. |

I bought it to, but then uninstalled it off the bat.
It's touted as one of the best, so i just picked it up at quarter in case ever wanted to try it in the future, so I can just re-install it for free. :)
Highly recommend eh?
