Anyone have any experience with Nexus S?
It's $50 from Fido on a 3 year term. Not sure if it's worth it though, for a 6 month old phone, especially with the crazy phones that HTC and Motorola are releasing.
Worth the price? Or should I save up and buy a phone off eBay? |

Not worth it. The Samsung Galaxy S2 coming out soon (July-August) or you can wait until December-January for the reported Nexus 3. |

Wait and get the Samsung galaxy s2. it is awesome! Buddy of mine ordered it the same day it got released in the UK (month or 2 ago) and it is an amazing phone. |

Just checked it out and yes it indeed looks amazing. It's also almost $800 :nervous:
I wish Fido wasn't so nowadays though. Their only 2 Android phones are the Nexus S and the Acer Liquid E (what is that like 2 years old? lol). By the time Fido offers the S2 or Nexus 3 we'll be in 2013. |

| I lost my iPhone 3G last week and I come up for early renewal next month at Fido and was looking at their offerings. I was thinking of getting the Nexus S as well but then I read about the Samsung Galaxy S2 and my mind was blown with how much better that phone seems to be. Does anyone know which carrier will have it? I can't believe it shoots video at 1080P and the motion control stuff looks pretty nifty. |

| Fido phones are . Your best bet if you don't want to join the Apple bandwagon is to use all your fido dollars + sign the contract and get the latest iPhone (only fido phone worth something) on the cheap. Sell it brand new unused and use the cashola to go buy your Android or BB... |

Do you think the sale price of an unlocked iPhone 4 will be enough to cover for the S2? you're right, I dont wanna deal with Apple and their restricting phones. The S2 in my mind, seems like an iPhone 4 killer overall, even tho the resolution isn't up to par it still has enough other crazy features to be better. I hate these Apple fanboys and I just need to send the scumbag waiting on the train platform a message with his iPhone for the 2 seconds he glances at my phone LOLOL |

You can buy it from Hi-mobile for $700, but you will probably get his with duties. I bought with them back in 2006, when I think they were operating out of Canada. You can also check out Pure Mobile and there is another online retailer but I cant remember their name. |

Well with the white being recently released you have the benefit of it being new to the market, more rare than the black. Quick search looks like people are asking $600 for the 16gb ($159 on contract) brand new in box and $700 ($269) for the 32gb. I'd post an ad for both and whichever one gets you the most profitable sale go with that and meet the buyer at the fido store to hand it off brand new. Also research the Gevey SIM I think it's $30-40 and lets you unlock it without jailbreaking. Most buyers will be too dum dum to do the jailbreaking stuff and the Gevey lets you avoid that so it will work on other carriers.
I'm waiting to see what the next iphone is all about and if it doesn't wow the out of me I'll do the above for an android. I'm super sick of having to use itunes for everything + all the limitations they put on the phone. Jailbreaking gets kind of old after awhile and it sucks seeing half the population with the exact same phone as you lol... |
