I hope its better, I don't mind this version I'm currently on and sone bugs seem to be gone now. Except the micro SD problem I have...
you can always turn it off if you don't use it.

My Galaxy Nexus finally got the 4.1.2 OTA.
If you guys are looking for a game for your tablet and like puzzles, check out: The Curse. It is 0.99$. They have well over 100 puzzles.

It seems like you can't remove the search bar on each screen. I guess unless you root the phone you can have it removed, but that would really annoying me.
Currently on my 4.0.1 version I can't view pictures on my phone while being considered nnected to my computer. Hopefully the new update gets a little more things right.

Super GNES has been great for me so far; not sure if there are better ones or any in which the free version allows you to save games/states

What do you play with? I just cannot play games with a touch screen.

Android 4.2 should be rolling out in November. Some of the updates to Google Now will be nice and also to the camera. Plus Google made their own swype :)
One thing, the pricing for Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (3G) and Nexus 10 are mind blowing.
Google Now has some features from Field Trip built right in (updated: update is available for download)

Verge wrote why Google opted out of LTE. If I read it correctly, LTE still is not standardized and carriers would force Google and the phone manufacture to modify the phones.

That's good news for battery life. And also, 4G is very adequate for most and I'm talking 85% of phone users.
I have been spoiled now with LTE but isn't not that slow of i had to downsize
