If your looking for a basic all you can do android phone and not worried about gaming go with the Nexus S, at least you don't have to worry about HTC or Samsung UI and with the Nexus S you get updates before anyone else.
I said I was abroad(in France) and we got that phone for pretty cheap, and yes it's legit from the cell carrier, not some special "off the truck" deal.
I'll be the first to admit I know little to nothing about the canadian mobile market but phones seem pretty pricey there no?
so S2? yay nay? :p

$200 and no contract? If so go for it. Seeing you will be waiting a long time before the Nexus 4G comes out.

Rumour has it, that Samsung will be releasing a revised version of the Galaxy SII when the iPhone 4S/5 gets released in August/September.

the S2 is pretty nice but i prefer the HTC sensation. I played around with it and its a pretty solid phone. Although all the reviews say the S2 is slightly better. I just like the HTC phones more and think they look better than samsung phones.
My GF has a nexus s, which i like but i wanna try an HTC. I'm done with Blackberry now. I'll wait until the iphone5 comes out and make a decision in august/september.

Pretty interesting tablet. I wonder if this will be the future of netbooks?
GGM
^^^ this has been done several times before (tablet screen that docks into a keyboard) but that is definitely the sleakest/cleanest implementation I've seen.
I doubt it'll be the future any time soon unless Apple decides to do it. Their marketing is something I've never seen before but it really doesn't matter what the competition puts out at this point. Brainwashing + all the apps under their belt just have people thinking "Hmmm maybe I'll get an iPad" instead of "Hmmm maybe I'll get a tablet, which one should I get?".

I have a Notion Ink Adam, and I love being able to just plug in a mouse, keyboard, and monitor and away I go.
The new Toshiba has full usb and HDMI ports too, so I would recommend that to anybody getting a tablet.
Yes! A "coming-soon" advertisement for the Galaxy S2 from Bell! They're doing some draw for it as well later this month! Finally some news

Does anyone know anything about the HTC Sensation? I wanna get one, but GSM on ROgers. I've read great things about the phone with a few downers but overall I'd prefer to geto one over an iphone.
Ive played with it in Hong Kong and its a great phone... i just havent used one to make calls or go browse the web.
Bell getting the but there is a GSM one for Rogers... no one online has one yet though...

It seems I lucked out, my Nexus One will work on Rogers LTE network. Seeing their LTE network is really AWS (1700/2100) :)
Finally I will be able to feel the power of 3G. Sucks I wont be able to get 3G+ or will I?
