It's just his 2nd save opportunity (and 3rd appearance) of the year

The Twins also got some breaks there. Castillo had a check-swing that could've been ruled a 3rd strike. After that, he barely got his bat on the ball for what became a swinging bunt, and barely beat out Rivera's throw to 1B.
Also, Matsui made the mistake of throwing to 3rd, and allowing the winning run into scoring position.
Morneau's game-winning hit wasn't all that hard, but got just past Cano.

Did you not read? I said "more players are getting their bats on the balls" ... meaning, hes not striking people out as regularly as he used to.

In 810 career innings, he has 731 SOs. His highest K/9 ratio was in 1996 when it was 10.87. After that, he only eclipsed a 9.00 twice, in 2001 and 2005. He's striking people out like he usually does.

It just seems like hes been blowing more saves lately.

;)

I'm sure he'll be fine. I feel more confident in him being good forever than the Braves always winning the East.

Which site would you cats recommend using to purchase Yankees tix?

I'd like to get my dad over this way and take him to the Chicago Sox game July 15th.

Or if anyone feels like unloading a couple good seats, please let me know!

Thanks :thepirate
kid nyce
Stubhub but you're buying jacked up prices there

I don't think I have the 15th of July, thats usually the most popular month of baseball, i took some early one tickets and alot of august tickets.

As for MO blowing saves, me personally, I think he's a destined HOFer I mean maybe he's blowing saves because he's been doing what he's already done...bring the heat and break bats. Sooner or later your fastball won't be fast enough and hitters will start hitting you. That's what happens you can't deny that.

Jeff Nelson attributed to MO's effectiveness in the early hay-days when the yankees did their thing.

Ticketsnow have hiked prices, but if you do the amex promo, you get $100 gift card. It's real, I did it and so did my boy. Got amazing seats for half their normal cost.

11 years Mo's been alive and kicking...hard. You gotta respect his numbers, and he can't get EVERY single save (although he tries), but no player lasts forever.
