Bitch please.

Baseball is not meant to see "good" pitchers with 4.50 ERAs and 6+ runs scored a game. I will never understand how American League fans find that fun to watch...

Steroids, small ball parks and overexpansion=bad pitching.

I feel bad for ozzie guillen or any manager that has to choose the all star lineups. I feel Schilling and Beckett got snubbed but it's tough when the manager has to take at least one player from every team which I don't agree with :whip: :whip:

how did Chacon and Small get so bad, after pitching so well last year?

Yanks scored the 2nd fewest runs in the AL for the month of June!! Please tell me again that missing Sheff, Matsui, and Cano has no impact on the Yankees because they still have Giambi, Jeter, A Rod. Yanks were built as an offensive team, they weren't setup like the White Sox to have a wealth of starting pitching. Why were they built as a hitting ballclub? Because it's much easier to trade or sign a big name bat then it is to acquire a really good pitcher. That free agent class with Pavano, Jaret Wright, etc. has turned out to be quite miserable outside of Pedro really. We all knew they'd have to win 9-6 a lot of times. When you throw out Nick Green, Melky Cabrera, Miguel Cairo, and Andy Phillips....it really doesn't strike fear in the hearts of the opposing pitchers.

Chacon really didn't have a great track record previously, he repertoire isn't exactly overpowering. He relies on command and if you saw yesterday, he was all over the place.

Aaron Small was a minor league journeyman, 31 years old, who had really his sinker workinig for half a season. Once it failed and hitters adjusted to seeing him again, he was pounded. Sometimes you catch magic in a bottle.
