That's one of the worst trades but it's not like trading A.J. Pierzynski for Joe Nathan, Francisco Liriano, and Boof Bonser. Great name by the way with Bonser.

The Kazmir for Zambrano trade is nowhere near the Nathan/Liriano/Bonser disaster. Also... Chris Capuano, Craig Counsell, Chad Moeller, Lyle Overbay, Jorge de la Rosa, and Junior Spivey for ninety at-bats of Richie Sexson and Shane Nance. The Brewers have since turned Lyle Overbay into Dave Bush, Zach Jackson and Gabe Gross.

It's hard to tell which of those two is worse. The Brewers got a lot of for Richie Sexson...

that was the first time ever, in 603 appearances, that Wagner allowed 6 baserunners in one inning

I think the Yankees should allow him to grow back his super mullet. That real curly one he had with the M's.

Jeter getting his 2000th hit is pretty cool. With the rest of this year and probably 5 more years he'll be at 3,000. I wonder how much more he can get over that. He's really having a great year by the way. Jeter is awesome. He's the Anti-Rod.

if Barroid doesn't hit #715 either this weekend or during this coming week, he'll have a chance to do so at Shea next weekend (June 2-4)
Before the season started, who thought it would take so long for him to do so?

other noteable milestones likely to happen this year among the locals
3000 K's for Pedro
400 HR's for Delgado
300 saves for Wagner

Curt Schilling could be going for his 200th win, against the Yanks (probably June 7), if he doesn't win either of his next 2 starts
