All three of Bonds' HRs have been to the opposite field. Perhaps he should be pitched inside. |
perhaps someone should hit him up and in |

| I thought that they should've walked him every time he was up in the first game. And proceed to throw over to first 25 times each times he's on base. By todays game, his knees would be jello. |

Dammit, Wagner blew a much needed save for me. :p
On a side note... BRONSON 'IN' ARROYO!!! |

Yanks couldn't take advantage of 14 walks given up by the D-Rays
and Mo got the loss
for the Mets, bullpen-burning, BB-dealing Brian "Houdini" Bannister hurt his hammy while scoring a run (coming right after he knocked in 2 runs). Will be interesting to see who fills his spot in the starting rotation. |

| It's gonna be Iriki, Lima, Maine, or Gonzalez. I HOPE Maine, but I'm thinking it's going to be Iriki. |

not sure how many of you read Bill Simmons on ESPN Page 2, but he had a chat yesterday and this was one of the questions he got:
Bronson Arroyo (Cincy): I'm about to go 4-0 (1-hit shutout into the 8th), do you miss me?
:haha:

First night at the park last night, even though the yanks lost, it was nice to be back in the bleachers - priming that voice for some good old bleacher creature rampage...
gathwright shot down by posada lead to a fun bottom of the inning
left the stadium at 10 around the 8th, kinda chilly |

Not really, because the Runs (for some strange reason werent counted against Wagner) and the WHIP was 2.00 |

because of the error by wright. the runs are not earned in that instance. vizquel does not score assuming that wright makes the throw for the final out. the person that got on base for bonds' HR is also unearned because he reaches on an error. i'm sure bonds' run isn't earned either |

Which is why, when I look at pitcher's stats, it's much better to look at WHIP than ERA. Wagner still gave up a homerun to Bonds. But because the error would've been the 3rd out, ALL runs after that would be unearned. Which is ridiculous. |
