clearly this discussion is about both of NY's teams.
and if you read alittle back, you'd see the initial reference was about 'yankee fans who don't give a about baseball after their team loses' - do i need to make the corrolation for that one because if I remember correctly, Shea was never packed like Yankee stadium was =)
oh and where the fuk have you been? you should come out to love tonight and get drunk with me...stop hiding in SI |
When the Mets win, Shea is just as packed as Yankee is. When the Mets lose, Shea is just as empty as Yankee is. It just so happens that the Yankees haven't lost in a long time, but, rest assured, if the Yankees were to start losing regular season games again, Yankee Stadium would be just as empty as Shea was during the mid 90s. |

i do pray that the mets stand up to the cards, i have them winning in 7 over the cards...
cards have been looking solid all year |
solid all year? with 3 losing streaks of 7 games or more??
I don't think a team like that deserves to even be in the World Series |

yea i watched all but maybe 4-5 games and in those games to me they showed they could compete. You are right though my statement was a bit blank as I have not followed them all year, but from what I see now going into the fall, they look like they are shaping up.
the whole season don't matter if you end up with a ring on your finger |

I think they should have just stuck with the same lineup they had game 1... i honestly think that coaches think WAY too much on stats, rather than whats working for them at the moment. unless, obviously, if someone is like 1 for 76 against a pitcher, than yea you dont want him hitting. |
