you need to get your head out of the leaves and view the entire forest.
First, american actions affect other countries, that's why they care.
Second, how is waging a war a humanitarian effort? Humanism is based on the premise that human life is valuable. War does the exact opposite, it treats human life as disposable. The ends don't justify the means in a humanitarian effort. every step in the process of a humanitarian effort must value human life. A war with iran might eventually benefit iranians, but to achieve that goal human life necessarily would be treated as a dispensable object. |
