what debates??? you call this slinging debating??? exactly this kind of....damn, i call it "instant knowledge", when every single bit of information is just a click away, free for all kinds of nimrods to interpret it any way they choose to. anyways, its exactly this kind of upedness that made me turn heavily to neo-luddism and anarcho-primitivism.

wikipedia is the greatest threat to our civilization, breeding generation after generation of people unable to THINK for themselves.

free porn, on the other hand (no pun intended), is kinda awesome!!

Thanks, but I didn't learn about the Munich agreement and how my country was betrayed from all sides from Wikipedia as the first source, we learned it back home when I was in school in Slovakia. And likewise, the stories from my grandparents and great-grandparents about WWII aren't Wikipedia stories but first-hand accounts of my family relatives. And the picture about Stalin and Hitler shaking hands and smiling at each other... that was in a history textbook, but even if it was on Wikipedia, I don't believe it's fabricated.

Before WWII, my country was a multinational prosperous land that had one of the highest standards of living in the world. People from other European countries went there for work. After the war, after the country was assigned to the Eastern block, all that was inadvertantly and irreparably gone. Partly due to the damage that the Nazis inflicted before and during the war (a lot of it was moral damage to the Czech-German relations I think), and partly due to the damage that the Soviet regime and their bus-boys imposed. Then and then again in 1968 during the Soviet invasion.

sadly, i know that very well.

I'm bitter about what Hitler and his cronies did before and during WWII that destroyed the Czech-German relations as well (I mean, this is just one of the evil things that he did that he has to be detested for). I think that if he and his fellow political subverters from inside Czechoslovakia (I don't know what was the name of that German party) had just left things alone, all could have gone well. But no, they had to pursue their stupid and evil dream of the Third Reich and destroy everything around them in the process. I heard that before WWII, there were about 3 million ethnic Germans living in Czechoslovakia, most of whom were expelled from the land after the war was over. I feel sorry for these people as well. Centuries before WWII, one of the most famous Czech kings Charles IV, who founded famous Charles university in Prague and built the Charles' bridge (both of which still exist in Prague today) was of half-Czech, half-German descent. Czech and German cultures mixed a lot during that period and I'd even dare say they enriched each other mutually. Too bad many ethnic Germans seemed to forget this during the time period preceding WWII. I wonder what happened during that time to make them be so? Insulted German pride at having lost territories after losing WWI?

honestly tho, now you guys are getting crazy with your russian history loving party in a thread that has nothing to do with any of this. start your own thread. "We love Russian history, it are the best." lol.

Please, continue to pat each other on the back and self-gratify.

"Oh, if I do say, I love your post there my friend."

"Yes, yes, quite the reply you have made to my earlier post, thank you."

"Indeed, how correct you are, if I do say so myself."

"I must agree. Fine interpretiation of my statement dear pal. Wonderful work."

I hope you find the time to write what you were referring to earlier, I am actually quite interested in what you have to say (no sarcasm whatsoever, I am sincerely interested!)

I dont know what that last bit means, but I get it. Taking time to engage in these long-paragraph type political convos takes time and can be exhausting.....Regardless, if you ever get around to it, I am anxiously awaiting (as are others im sure, but maybe the others are ready to jump on you based on your assumed opinion of the matter....) :nervous:
