Why did all the Jews decide they want to live in Poland? We were pretty damn happy living out our aristocratic life throughout the ages. |

It really saddens me to see attempts to undermine the Soviets' role in WW2 - and it makes me angry too. My grandpa was a war veteran who was severely injured and went through life with a piece of a bullet in him that couldn't be removed. I have heard stories from him first-hand, no Wikipedia will ever tell me that.
The nature of a war is that there always were and always will be war casualties, horrible things happening to peaceful civilians and so on. But I will never ignore the fact what the Soviets and other allied forces did for the world as we know today. |

What can be done after 70 years? How about admitting that Russia wasn't the saviour of the world. How about admitting to war crimes. If the Germans have to still pay renumerations, why doesn't Russia? |
Who was the saviour then? Poland? USA? Canada?
please enlighten me. |

Again all joking aside, he could not have been that good of a pilot if he couldn't land in a fog (IF like Kris said ILS was present) and he didn't have the intelligence or balls to stand up to whomever gave him a suicide order with the President on board...
Please remember that I am still standing behind the theory that it was pilot error.. |
Well nothing has been confirmed yet so its all speculation at this point. I read that Russian military airfield management suggested alternate airfields in Minsk and Moscow due to poor weather, but the flight crew ignored this advice and continued their approach. Some sources claim the aircraft has made four landing attempts, contrary to a single one according to others. I doubt we will ever know for sure. |

I think the saviour was Hitler himself...
If he didn't decide to fight on two fronts, the result would've been MUCH different... |

im just saying... give us polaks some credit. im sure they didnt put some loser to fly that plane lol |
Well apparently they did because there are A LOT of important ppl dead...
And on further reading, I've learned that the plane did have an ILS installed but the airport was on a different system. This goes further to proves the pilot error... |
