As I had mentioned before the reason for that was the presence of 11 polish government officials while the information is/was deciphered.

I'd like not to continue with this margs, for me this is just a debate, I didn't like a couple of your comments so I responded, in return this went above and beyond your average debate but i didn't mean to offend anyone.
If you think "USA saved the world" that's fine, I personally disagree because in my opinion that statement is false.
You must have this image of me being this Russian patriot, that's not true. Russia or USSR is not perfect and I never claimed it to be. I live in Canada for a reason not because it was amazing in Russia, if it was I would be living there right now. There is tons of corruption, criminal activity and even (this is actually embarrassing to even mention, ww2 veterans are rolling in their graves right now) skinhead nazi movements, tons of them. Also I know Poland has suffered a lot throughout these years so i can see why Polish people may not like the Russians.
If you didn't know I'm actually Armenian but i lived in Russia most of my teenage life. Armenians have been mass murdered as well during the early 1900's. Approximately 1.5 million people were killed and most countries do recognize this tragic event except for the country that actually committed these crimes. If you compare the events in Poland at least Russia is acknowledging the fact that this took place where as in case with Armenian Genocide this country is claiming that this event was falsified and never actually happened. I know i just covered tons of topics but that's whats on my mind right now
:stongue: again no offence Margs.

Ann Coulter delivered her (I'll quote you) "hate speech" in Calgary

LOL

Let me get this straight, there is a quote of me in this thread that says her speech at the University of Calgary consisted of 'hate speech?' That's awesome. Because I can't find it. :haha:

But here is what I did say: that she spreads hate speech and it was good of the University of Ottawa to cancel on the bitch. She had three universities to attend to. One of the highlights at her first stop at Western:

quote:
When answering questions from students, Coulter told a 17-year-old Muslim student to "take a camel" instead of the flying carpet she has previously suggested Muslims use for transportation. This was in response to the student's question about previous comments by Coulter that Muslims should not be allowed on airplanes.

Following which, the University of Ottawa gave her a warning that wasn't gonna fly around here. Now I imagine it's not too far-fetched to think that she might tone it down a little at Calgary, which she did, but that has nothing to do with the fact that this crazy bitch is motivated by her Christian belief--in her words--to try to convert Muslims and the rest of the population to Christianity, even when they don't deserve it. Or you know, you could read one of her columns. The stuff she writes would not be tolerated in the Canadian Press, for the precise reason that we have hate speech laws.

How can you like that quote if it disproves your argument? Are you insane??

Its very likely you dont even have this book, or failed to flip through the first 2 pages. Are you ready for this, one, two and here:

Flip to: FOREWORD > Right side of the page, about 3rd or so paragraph. Thanks! See those quoted sentences now? That wasn't so hard now, was it? Want me to take another photo?

I wont bother even reading your posts anymore, you don't EVEN know what you're talking about. You spew out more nonsense than even Ann Coulter does.

Let me get this straight. I've provided you with multiple sources to show how ridiculously misinformed you are, and you respond by posting A PICTURE of the book? Is this an attempt to distract from the actual discussion?

I'll ask again, you claim that it was the Russians and not the Americans who contributed the most in ending WWII--WHERE IS YOUR SOURCE?

I'm impressed that you can use a camera to a take picture of the book, but I asked for specific passages, not a picture. And congratulation, you've pointed to one quote now 50 times. How does this one quote about military achievements from 1941 to 1943 in any way or form suggest that it was the Russians who contributed the most to ending the war? This might just be me, I haven't checked Wiki yet, so you can help me out, but the ing war didn't end in 1943 did it?

Honestly, you have not referenced instead of a picture, and the SAME QUOTE over and OVER again, which I have shown to be a moot point. So I'll ask you again, to point me to a historian who supports your case. Otherwise, go back to taking pictures--I think some people found it funny.

I'm glad you got excited over a picture. Now go back to hiding. You couldn't respond to me a few pages ago when I showed you just how misinformed you are, and likewise, your little buddy here hasn't done except post a picture of a book.

When you nationalist clowns are ready to provide me with some textual evidence, then I'm all ears. Otherwise, don't kid yourselves.

thanks for your post.

in terms of polish people not trusting putin himself and reading about it somewhere, you really don't have to go further than TA. i am polish and from what i feel and hear, they (we) don't trust him. and the other officials, we wouldn't put past them getting pay offs and being part of it too. (this is not what i think, but there are rumors going around like that, there are tons of different rumors because on polish news, the people are feaking out and reporting every little thing as news/facts.)

to be honest polish people don't think that America/Allies saved them either. i don't think that at all. like i said before, as soon as the war was over, the allies took off and sat in their corner counting their nukes. while poland was trying to rebuild, and deal with soviet oppression. only when they realized that poland's people can actually fight communism on their own, they decided to get involved again in the 80s.

there are many things that the old guard in russia will never admit too. they will never release the archives, they will never admit to anything. even 70 years later, russian news was printing that the nazi's were responsible for Katyn. Even after it was admitted. I don't see them admitting to much. Being a Russian is hard because there is guilt there and people fight it by being very nationalistic to an almost agressive point.

lol. my family moved to canada in the 80s and it sure wasn't because we love snow and cold but because we wanted freedom.

how can you understand anything he is writing. it's like random words threw up on the page and mixed together with some crap that makes no sense at all.

he has a book? OMG OWNAGE. as if. i can go down to the library down the street and get a book too. and a magazine. it's the understanding you take away from the book and how you can convey that understanding to others is what counts.
