History repeats itself. There will never be peace between Russia & Polska. This is all too much of a coincedence & conspiracy. The sole fact of this old aircraft will not be a serious motive to any partriotic Polak. To top all of that out, Polacy have weak invistigation unit's so chances are it will be unresolved for many years to come, just like Katyn.
I will not continue on discussing this topic because the hate is unnecessary for those who are not to blame. For what it's worth, in my mind, Putin is sitting calmly & relaxing now that our president is dead.

The up keep on Air Force One is insane. Any wear that is noticed on the plane, the part is replaced. I forget which documentary I was watching and it was talking with the special team that monitors the plane day in and day out.

I'm completely speechless that so many important figures were on the same plane *facepalm* What's more enraging is that some media are claiming that the President himself insisted that they not divert. If true, then that stubborn moron got what he deserved. It's just sad that his ego had to take so many other innocent and much more important people down too. The death of the President will hardly have the same implications as the deaths of all the other people on that plane will (eg. the entire command of the armed forces, the head of the national bank) The President is closer to that of an international figure/ambassador. The Prime Minister is responsible for national activities, interests, etc.
As they say: "madry Polak po szkodzie" (which translates to "A Pole only smartens up after the fact" aka "hindsight is 20/20" as we say here).

The Polish government does have redundencies and it will be fine.
The twin brother of the President is the chairman of the opposing party.
We just hope that the Law and Justice party doesn't fall apart now. You need at least two strong parties to keep a country in check.
I heard on CNN that Putin himself wants to head the investigation into the crash. Am I the only one that thinks this is sketchy. If I was him I would be quiet about it. He is the only Russian leader that hasn't apologized for the Katyn Massacre.
Also, I get very bad vibes from this area in the world. I don't think any polish people should ever go near there. It's cursed with the spirits of the dead.

are you sure his twin bro is the head of the opposition? Maybe something changed in the last few years but from what I remember they were part of the same party but one was President, and the other was Prime Minister before Donald Tusk took over.

I meant the opposition to the prime minister.
PiS (the party of the twins). Had the presidency but didn't have the prime minster spot. So the other twin is the chairman of the PiS which is the opposition of the prime minister.
