we can do this the simple way...
buy the tickets now while they are cheap and no line-up
when the line-up comes out the price will go up
and if you dont like the line-up you just sell your ticket and make a profit
problem solved

I don't care... if the bickering continues... its gone. Right now this thread is turning less than positive or productive. I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here... but calling people idiots and morons isn't exactly getting on my good side.

It makes complete sense to have early-bird tix to an event such as this, even without a lineup. I see no reason to believe that Made would put out a less than stellar lineup filled with enough variety to keep the majority of people happy (besides those who will bitch no matter what). I've had enough fun both years to go for a third. It would have to be a wildly awful lineup for somebody like me to cancel an annual plan of traveling to NYC, hanging out with friends, catching the US Open, etc. Therefore, I appreciate the opportunity to buy early and save a few bucks.

EDIT: And to address an earlier comment... I believe that Zoo was not far from being sold out this year. The place was absolutely packed. Unless there is room for expansion of the grounds (didnt really examine the area), I don't think a huge number of extra people would have worked.

Maybe. Look at the lineup for Ultra from last year compared to this year though...
