They don't. They need to sell 25-35k 3-day passes. Only about a half of those being at the $300 level. |

They're just following in UMF's footsteps. They're seeing how many 3 day passes they can sell at a ridiculously high price and if they sell out they don't have to release single days. I'd say its 99% for sure that they will sell out with three day tickets (as did Ultra) with all the big time headliners that all the young people will go crazy over.
The ed up thing is they prevent you from being able to sell off a day or two by giving you a bracelet. I'm going to NYC that weekend regardless but I'm just gonna by someones braceletthat isn't going on the Sunday because you know there will be some people not able to survive the three days. NYC Craigslist will be flooded with people tryingto get back some money from their ridiculously overpriced tickets.
That's why I love DEMF.. They're true to the music with reasonable prices and a wayyyy better line-up then this . |
