Great deal. Just bought. If you think this is a ripoff I'd recommend getting a better job.

Honestly it doesn't seem that bad to me at $56 a day. You know when the the time comes it will be over or about $100 a day so if you plan on only one day maybe that is better. If you are doing two or more days this is probably the best deal you will see.

If I was going I would def buy one now. But I guess it doesn't matter because I'm doing Burning Man this year. The same week and they have had early tickets on sale since Nov. 17th.

I guess no matter what there will be people bitching about something. Service charges, tix too early, tix too much, line up sucks, beer sucks. LOL. It makes me laugh.

I'll pick up the early bird just because I know there's a good chance come September I'll be pissed if I miss something or pay out the ass otherwise. 3 days will be exhausting but even if I have to lay on the dirt the 3rd day I'll still have a blast.

That being said, I have very flexible hours and can walk to Randall's Island from my apt but I don't want to be the only person out on Friday. I think more people would be able to take a Friday off if it weren't following a 3day weekend. Most companies especially don't allow the younger staff to do this. My GF's boss' all take off the Thurs/Friday before 3 day weekends (I think bcs their kids have more days off and they take trips or whatever) so she never can because someone has to cover them and it's always the non-senior staff. ie; the young adults who would want to attend such an event.
