| 300$ for 3day pass is actually not bad at all, its pretty much 100$ a day from here on out which is a good deal besides the early bird. The thing is you are stuck with a 3day pass. If they continue selling 3day passes after this introductory price sells out, It could easily hit 400$ wowwww! I think they will def. release individual tickets, I don't see people paying around the 300-400$ price range just because they want to come out for one day, thats madness. |

....i wouldn't be suprised if it sells out before they start selling individual day tickets.
I think tickets day of last year were around $140 |

| Yeah I'd be pretty surprised if it doesn't sell out with the 3 day pass so single day tix never go on sale. When the rest of the lineup comes out you know it will be nuts and there will be loads of hype....plus you know Made has something up their sleeve. I'll probably only go 2 days, maybe I can somehow sell the 3rd day. |

haha It's all good, man... New York's New York, I'm just happy things are working out for me elsewhere, where it matters! That's really a non-issue though, I really would have gone if it were $75 less.. I have no problem being a customer when the product and the price are justified. |
Theres still time for them to ask you, no? to spin
It really makes no sense that there is no good local tent! i mean COME ON!

Just a thought - Sorry if this has already been mentioned/discussed (I don't think it has though)
Maybe one of the reasons why the festival is so much more money already this year has to do with MADE spending more money trying to resolve the dust situation? Something like putting in floor's (Something like they had at the SHM party in Miami on the Beach?) Or maybe they are going to bring in one of those crazy stages (Similar to the one(s) at Nocturnal in Cali and the one this year at Ultra in Miami) That has decent flooring?
Probably not, as I have no idea how much extra all of that stuff would cost, just something to think about though.
What do you guys think?

I highly doubt it. They are likely justifying their costs by making it a 3 day event. |

maybe to rent the island during a weekday (friday) is a lil more expensive? but other then that i dont feel puttin down a fake dancefloor for a few days justify's their raise in price
it's either alot more talent, more money to rent the island/production, or they are lookin to rob the customer for a few extra bucks |

| they're prob. going to throw down a bull tarp like the ones at summerstage and call it a 'carbon-reducing bio-eco shroud' in order to partially justify the $ gouging. it will still be a bull tarp. |

I think they rent the place more than just 2-3 days to set up/pack up so I doubt that's the reason for price increase. They will definitely hire more people for that extra day but you would think that they will make more money with food vendors/drinks/etc to offset that cost.
In the end they are in this to make money and doing pretty good job at it. |
