you never know tho, he has his own tent at pretty much every big festival so its def possible, it would attract alot of people too and its all about selling tickets so it would be a good move on their part |

been looking at airfare lately, what the eff its like $70 more than last year depending on times/dates. looks like any $ i saved on buying early bird is going towards airfare :(
still looking forrward to it though! |

Set up daily alerts using Kayak.com. You will be emailed every day with flight quotes and when it drops. Track it for like 2 months and you'll know what a good deal is. |

Except probably over 50% of the EZ crowd wouldn't even know who Carl Cox is. Everybody has heard of Armin van Buuren, which is probably why he'll be closing the main stage again this year (although I really hope not).
Was pretty sick when he dropped "Platinum" though :crazy: |

what? lol im sure everyone and their mother knows who carl cox is and is very much similar with his carl cox & friends party. its a legend down in miami which doesnt even get advertised or broadcasted anymore but ppl still are aware of it... |

even moby packed out the main stage...yea he is a huge name dont get me wrong but imo the average clubber know him more for his productions and not his dj sets
i remember i was sitting down and eatting and listenin/lookin over at the main stage when he was spinning...it was packed and people were goin nuts
so yea i doubt more then 50% of the people wont be at carl's set when he's spinning
heck if i was a dj spinning the same time in another tent i would even wanna check him out lol |

It's risky, and more so with flights to desirable locations, but if you wait until the last minute (I'm talking like the week before the show, possibly days before the show) ticket prices often drop off dramatically if they have seats to fill on the flights. Also you could try looking at prices for near-by cities. It's possible to fly into say Boston or Philadelphia and take a train (which is usually fairly inexpensive) to NYC.
Every time I've flown out of the country I've done it through Philadelphia because the ticket prices are always waaaaaay less than JFK. |

Yes, Carl Cox is a legend, but were you at E Zoo last year? Very young crowd from what I could tell, and they seemed to be more of the "Why isn't Deadmau5 here?" type than the "Why isn't Carl Cox here?" type. You're also talking about Miami, not New York. I could almost guarantee he wouldn't close the main stage. If Deadmau5 is playing E Zoo this year, just watch the flock of teenagers who only go to see the mighty mau5.
I'm not doubting Carl Cox at all myself, and I'd love to see him since I haven't since 2006, but I'm just saying there was probably 100,000+ people there last year, and I'd be surprised if 50,000 of them cared that much about seeing Carl Cox. They were probably just as, if not more happy at seeing people like Rusko, or the Chemical Brothers or Bassnectar. You have to realize the type of people who go to shows like this are not 100% in line with the type of people who are on this website. |
