Electric Zoo: New York’s Electronic Music Festival is bigger and better than ever in 2011, expanded to three days on September 2, 3, and 4, 2011 on Randall’s Island Park over Labor Day weekend. Made Event is proud to announce three of the biggest names in dance music as headliners for this year’s festival: Tiësto on Friday, David Guetta on Saturday, and Armin van Buuren on Sunday. After last year’s sold out festival and this year's early-bird passes selling out in record time, Electric Zoo 3-Day passes are on sale now in limited supply at this initial price.

Legendary DJ and producer Tiësto was recently named MixMag’s “Greatest DJ of All Time” and will be making his Electric Zoo debut this year. Grammy winning superstar producer and the world's biggest house music DJ David Guetta returns to Electric Zoo after headlining its 2009 inaugural year. And DJ Mag’s number one DJ in the world Armin van Buuren returns to bring his State of Trance to shake the festival grounds as an Electric Zoo veteran. Electric Zoo will feature more than 100 of the world’s biggest electronic music talent, including DJs and live acts, providing the finest techno, trance, house, dubstep, electro, indie dance and more across multiple stages from morning to night. More artists to be announced!

Now in its third year, Electric Zoo 2011 enters a new three-day format to bring you even more stellar global talent. After last year’s success, with a sold-out crowd of 50,000 over two days, Electric Zoo 2011 will be the Big Apple’s hottest dance music event of the year. As Armin said last year, “New York finally has the [Electronic Dance Music] festival it deserves.

Purchase 3-DAY passes now - in limited supply at this introductory price. VIP and Platinum Experience tickets also on sale. For tickets and more info please visit www.ElectricZooFestival.com.

i hear what your saying

if made really did care about their customers they would atleast sell tickets at their upcoming nyc events or at a box office with a flat rate minus the bull $40+ surcharge

First I felt ripped off, but now i'm happy. I'm sure I'll be able to sell my tickets for $400 about a week before the event. $350 rock-bottom. I mean, by then (if it doesn't sell out a week before the event) that's how much they'll cost anyway. Tiesto, Guetta, and Armin are the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st most popular DJ's on this planet in that order. Makes sense to headline it that way (for money purposes).

I remember in EZ 2009, with the promocode EZNY you get two days for $80 plus fees. THAT WAS THE . It was also the first time I saw Markus Schulz, and he kicked my ass! Also the first time I ever heard On A Metropolis Day (at which point I was in LOVEEE with Metropolis and On A Good Day). So when I heard the Metropolis beat, I was stoked. Then when the lyrics from On A Good Day came on, everyone their pants!

Now I throw up instead of ting my pants when I hear the song cuz its played out. Also throw up when looking at the EZ prices, but also, my eyes turned to dollar signs :/

Unfortunately, no matter how much we can bitch and complain, there will be people that have zero clue about electronic music, but will jump on the popular bandwagon and spend the top dime for those events. Because of these people, the fans get screwed and end up not attending parties (maybe 1 or 2 a year) or leaving the scene completely.

Made just proved to us that they're about grabbing $$ now. They first showed their cards with AVB at Roseland May20th and now this.

Fortunately, we still have other great promoters throwing amazing parties.

No, I was 16 then. Good guess though...

My taste has changed a lot since then. I found my old ipod and couldn't believe what I used to listen to.

Dream Beamz
price went up. $249 before fees

made event is officially on crack with there prices.

idk what they are thinking, this is their 3rd year and prices are more than ultra/edc or any major European festival. Plus major issue with the venue... Venue is comparatively small, dust issues leaves you coughing for atleast 2 weeks.

Electric Zoo 2009 was probably the best 2 days of that year.

I think if they keep the ticket prices for 3 day GA, under/around $200 with the fees and . Then the festival makes more sense.the whole point of a festival is that you get to see a lot many DJs/artists for a very reasonable price.

If i go will only go a day or so...that too because EZ to me is more about friends/summer/brooklyn brewery piss/garbing random bimbos than anything.

not interested in seeing anyone they have announced so far.

LOL $290 with taxes bwahahaha

my attendance to this event would depend on these 3 conditions:

1. be able to get single-day tickets.

2. a trancy and prog house line-up on a single tent.

3. at least 2 enhanced artists.

Otherwise, MADE!
