so what other names are we still expecting to be announced? anybody?

someone said that Avicii is confirmed, but not announced yet which makes sense since he's a huge name right now and Made will probably get some extra last minute (read: higher revenue) ticket sales from him.

I also will find it hard to believe if they do not bring in 1 of the SHM guys. The funny thing is that there will be a ton of DJ playing the same kind of that music regardless. (Alesso, Avicii, AN21, Max Vangelli, Dirty South)

some notable names that are missing IMO:

Marcus Schossow
Dada Life
Laidback Luke
Nicky Romero
Dirty Vegas
Wolfgang Gartner

I have to admit, Dirty Vegas I think would be better than some of the acts they have booked already. looks like Sunday is a tent day for sure.

Rap is made Electronically. People Dance to it. And, it is indeed Music. It is 100% a form of EDM.

Yeah, but c'mon, man is that how you really feel? Guitars are electronic, it's produced, processed and laid out on computer programs, and vocals nowadays are sooooo processed. People dance to them at concerts but we're not calling Coldplay or Blink 182 EDM..

If you're talking about Baltimore breaks, maybe you have a case!

Is that how I really feel? lol. To be honest man, I am sort of surprised you don't agree with me.

You referenced Coldplay and Blink 182 for some reason. The thing is, when we're talking about hip hop , we're not talking about music that is just "laid out and processed" in computers. Hip Hop is music produced entirely electronically, using computers. Its made using samples and synthesizers, just like trance, house, and techno. Hip hop producers use the same kind of software and gear. Its played by DJs in nightclubs....

Now, maybe Hip Hop Culture is not what immediately comes to mind when you think "EDM." I agree that its a different culture for the most part. But you can't deny that hip hop is 100% a form of Electronic Dance Music when you actually think about it unbiasedly for a second. Its culturally very different from the trance scene for example, but it doesn't make it less part of the EDM family.

Back on the topic of Snoop Dogg...type his name into Beatport and see what comes up. The guy is about way more than just hip hop these days, as are so many other big hip hop acts.

For example...

This is an original track he did with house music producer and dj, Ian Carey.

I was thinking Tritonal
Neonbeats
Tritonal is playing the afterparty at Pacha on day 1 Ezoo

As for Snoop....this really shouldn't be surprising. Hip Hop turned to house music. Snoop is a big name. Tons of people will want to check this out. This is actually a good booking. I'll be as far away as possible.
