just got my wristband...

talk about advanced state of the art security. no wonder these tickets are so expensive the dam wristbands probably cost an arm and foot jeeezzzzzz... or maybe not.

it comes with a full sheet of instructions since we are chipped with some kind of RFID and it looks like if you wear two at the same time they interfere with the radio frequency......forget it!

watever lets rock and roll !!!!:tongue3

well looks like i wont be coming, as Above & Beyond,Super8 & Tab got added to the labour of love event!

What do you think the RFID is for? Wouldn't a simple bar code work if all they were used for is scanning? Maybe it's if we get lost - the "man" can come and find us.

I don't like the fact we have to keep these bands on for 3 days - yes I realize you can put it on loosely and take them off... but what IF you lose it? Then you're f*cked!

Yeah I know... Stop complaining. lol

Yea pretty advanced tech for a music festival wristband. rfid is getting to the point where its financially feasible to stick in low cost applications. crazy.

so mine also came with, what looks to be, an anti-static, protective bag that can be sealed up with adhesive. this bag was open and is not actually long enough to comfortably fit the wristband into, as i originally thought it was to protect the wristband and chip during travel through airport security scanners, etc.

anyone have any other ideas? no explanation of the bag in the directions, weird.

ye its just an anti-static bag for the RFID chip which are prone to damage caused by electrostatic discharge and your info doesn't get magically deleted and come day of, and the band doesnt scan !! fakkkk !!

also about the loose wristband....be careful!!!
