Having that said, noting is funnier than watching people complain about ticket prices when you have plenty of time to get cheap early bird tix. It's not made's fault, it's yours, sorry. This will sell out this year easily. |
i dont see this as my fault at all, most people waited for the 1 day tix that's why there was such a drastic change of attendance saturday and sunday
im not even mad anymore cause the 10 ppl i wanna see i can see at d36 throughout the year so ill keep my money put it to much better use |

Are there any 1-Day Passes or 2-Day Passes available? Will those be made available in the future?
Currently only 3-Day passes are available. We cannot guarantee that 1-Day or 2-Day passes will be released. If demand for 3-Day passes causes the festival to sell out, we will not be able to release 1-Day or 2-Day passes.

drastic change of attendance sat and sunday?
but after Ultra I thought it was pretty obvious single day tix prob won't even be sold. I might only go a day or 2, but at $130, def worth it since you can sell it for double the amount anyway. |

i'll def be at the after parties though, which will be a lot better...last prob just as long, if not longer...with a much better line up...

Im totally cool with the original price. I think the early bird tix are totally fair for the festival.
I do feel really bad for those who waited, but I do think their complaints are justified. Most people want to know what they are paying for. You dont see many people ponying up $250 for a rock concert before they know what band is playing!
They may want to see a lineup (if even a glimpse) or to see if there are other ticketing options available (ie: one and two days passes).
Some people may have other holiday plans, work, etc that others dont take into consideration: It has nothing to do with age (dear lord, that argument is retarded considering half the people who are complaining are in their early 20's!) nor does it have to do with boredom.
I actually think those complaining about the complainers are being the most negative out of everyone because they dont take financial situations, work, plans, whatever into consideration of others. A lot of these people may REALLY want to go to these events and instead got hosed in one way or another.
In any case if this goes up any further, I may just take my ticket sale money and put it towards a flight to Time Warp or some other festival ;) :) |

| It never hurts to buy early bird tix for this kind of stuff. Never. Even if you're not sure what you're gonna do or who is gonna be playing you can always sell your ticket for double the price you paid for it. The fact is there are plenty of people willing to pay these prices. We all saw the same thing with Ultra. People will bitch, the festival will sell out and life will go on. |

I dunno, craigslist or wherever? People were buying Ultra tix for like $700. I wanted to go to Barcelona/Ibiza at the end of Sept.....selling the ticket would really help the fund :o |
