| Yes that's right, I'm mad. Look back at my first posts and you'll see i just said I thought it was silly to sell tickets before there were any confirmed acts. I don't care to look back but the douchery started with some assclown supposing i was "new to the scene" and calling me a noob for making a perfectly reasonable assertion. |

I just saw this on facebook today. didn't realize it'd been around for a few weeks now. crazy...
3 day pass + shipping ($6.50 with USPS) + fees = $176
i paid $152 for this years (2-day pass + fee + shipping).
so $24 for a third day...general admission...hm.....
doesn't seem *that* bad...but lol @ $40.50 fee....jeez |

Well... Considering how much I loved it this year, I don't see why not. $170 if you include the service fee for 8-10 hours of techno for three days? Sign me up.
The Sunday School tent was bat- insane. Seriously the best party and most surreal vibe I've ever experienced.
Call me crazy, but I'm kinda sad that they'll be bringing in experts to deal with the dust issue. All that dirt made it feel like a proper underground rager! Now I know, the last thing made events needs is to have someone seriously screw themselves because of lung damage, but still... :p |

i HIGHLY doubt anything will be done about the dirt. it was just dirt. good ol' Earthly Soil. and maybe some drugs in there too but whatever. Randall's Island is open year round for various events. i really don't see anything becoming of it because a few thousand folks complained on one weekend.
i personally didn't mind it, and i agree kind of welcomed it. the more and more i think about this, the more i'm inclined to buy now. |
