anothing thing I find hypocritical of ISP's (and phone companies) is that if you dont fully use your quota...you loose it.

If, god forbid, you go over the quota, you are raped w/ fees.

It should go both ways! Customers should be allowed to carry over unused usage

tell that to the egyptian people. cuz right now they don't want to watch tv or eat a burger but they sure as hell want to get their story out into the rest of the world (using internet).

That attitude right there is what is wrong.....it is not a right or even a necessity of life. More people in the world don't have internet then do.

If you truly want to make it fair for everyone across the board then just have a universal set charge per gig and be done with it.

umm, let me see that fact somewhere. cuz i doubt it.

I'm not sure I get the issue here. They're changing the price structure of a service. The internet is no different then any other service held for sale; subsequently, I don't see why it should be priced any differently. Pay for use seems the only fair system. If you don't think the service is worth the new price that will be attached to it then cancel the service. If the demand dries up the prices will come down. My guess is that they could double the price and most of you would maintain your subscriptions so quit your bitching.

why not have a standardized price for bandwidth usage? The more you use the more you pay....seems fair for everyone.

but it should be pennies not what we pay now. i would be for that. just not these crazy ass prices.

You mean if there was any competition. 2 companies in collusion on pricing isn't competition. It's time to disband the Communist Radio and Television Committee and let Verizon and company in.

i don't think we want any of the american bull either.

comcast and nbc merging?

comcast doing the same sort of as bell around the states.

AT&T holding the iPhone hostage for so many years.

we honestly don't want their crap either.

why can't canada so something new and good?

Still doesn't make it a right...

Internet access is a privilege that was taken away when they used it against their government...

I'm not saying I agree with their gov. Just that revolution is a kind of war and one of their weapons was taken away...

What that has to do with how we're being charged is beyond me though..

yeah, i dunno about this. but from what i understand, it works differently in non-developed countries. not every home has a connection but people share one for a village or something. just like a whole village shares a phone.
