I'm being lazy and only reading the last page, so i dunno if this has been suggested, but, for a good forearm workout, take a metal bar or whats left of a strong broomstick, get some thick string and tie a bunch of weights together. Hold the bar out in front of you and 'reel' the weights up.. then back down, slow |
i was actually thinking about listing that as a suggestion, but then was too lazy to type it out hehehe...it is a great forearm workout though ;) |

You're the man swamper. I followed your advice, wrapped my balls in steel cable, connected it to a broomstick, and I've been lifting like crazy. What can I say but:

I started doing a variation of these, well, same motion, using an E-Z bar and preacher bench. I throw on 15lbs on each side, not much weight, but man does it burn. Three sets of fifteen and my forearms are toast. I've never liked working forearms, but I throw this in as an extra bicep exercise on my back/bi days.
It's been a while since I've hit the gym, blame mid-terms, and a lack of funds for that :p Personally, I loathe doing cardio - I just can't run on a threadmill for more then a minute without getting bored. That and the fact that I smoke really doesn't help either :D
How long do most of everyone's work-outs last? I try and keep my routine nice and quick, short breaks in between sets - usually done in about an hour or so. My days usually go chest/tri's, back/bi's, shoulders/bi's or tri's - I don't do legs, should start though. Like cardio, I'm not a fan of doing leg's - I've relied on hockey for calf and quad exercise.
I'll post up my rountine later, could use some input on changing things up.
