I wanted to pet his head before going to school (poor baby "cries" when we left him home alone :|) and he jumped at me (reflex) since he was half awake. He'd never do it on purpose, though.
Later he realised what he has done and you could see he is sorry for it. He was even shivering. :nervous:
It's more my fault than his.

Actually, Europe uses kgs and USA uses lbs.
But I write both on this forum so people could understand me easier. :P

i've really lowered the weights A LOT!! and to be perfectly honest, this is some of the best workouts i've ever had...i'm definitely making progress. i'm done playing the "omg look at how much i lift" game hehehe :p

no...i'm planning on building muscle...i'm just lifting a better way. trust me i can put up some weight...but i think that's really just a waste of time. i like this new way better.
Michael19
care to share this "better way"?

i just dont get how lifting less weights then you are used to will help gain muscle?

basically...you are trying to lift more weight then you should. you should take the weight down a notch and concentrate on proper form and feeling the muscle work. its just a different approach. i mean yeah i've gotten results lifting as much weight as i can, but i think this way is gonna provide better results.

and the day after a work out with less weight...the muscle is sore because i targeted it so well. i don't have a lot of secondary and supportive muscles too sore to workout. and i don't have any stiffness in joints and either which is another problem i had. i just think by lowering the weight and really focusing in on the muscle you're working, that i'm actually getting a better workout.

and i guess you're point about leaner muscle mass is something as well. i do feel like the muscles are becoming more defined...which i'm not gonna complain about hehe :p

cant argue with that. I usually lift the weight i am comfortable with. I have been tempted to move up for the last set but i dont think it will be worth while. Sure as it is i am usually struggling on the last few reps!

Chest and back tomorrow, should be good!
