Maybe there is still time? Maybe not... I think it would be pretty awesome... though probably only really viable for West Coast and Midwest TA's (we were thinking Colorado/Wyoming/Montana... maybe even Utah)

If you read the thread you notice , some of us ski/board both coast.

I have tentatively began planning a 2007 9 Day snowboarding/skiing trip to Lake Tahoe in Reno Nevada (of course with the help of our very own transplantee Melissa[butterfly]).

I wanted to see if anyone is interested in joining in on this trip. I would estimate a budget of about $1500-2000 per person which should include atleast 5 days of riding lift tickets, air fare, cabin lodging, car rental, and food for the house.

I am looking at opening this up to 4 slots to join in. We can go as much as 12 but that would require others to coordinate their own air fare and car rental. Lodging and lift tickets we can coordinate as whole group. I can only really assume responsibility for 2 cars or 8 people at the moment (or as much as my credit card would allow).

Again, this is tentative planning as nothing is set in stone.

Mountains that are in the radar
Squaw Valley, Northstar, Sierra at Tahoe
*others are included but these are the must hit-list*

So give it some thought and I hope I let enough time for people to start budgeting such a trip. Believe me, it'll be a blast. I think we might also try to schedule this trip around a night out at the casinos for drinks and/or an edm event. There has been some nice lineups for such a remote area such as Tahoe, they have seen the likes of Tiesto and Ferry. What more could we want lol!

Anyways to get people HYPED...look below for the essence of tahoe!

Damn man. Alittle expensive for my taste. Good luck tho;)

i hear ya, but for the record, thats an extreme over budgeting on my part. I usually estimate over budget so people will end up having money left over where as being surprised later on with additional fees.

Easily I see 400-500 for air fare, 300-500 for cabin, 300 lift tickets and 100-200 for an SUV. I figure thats a fair amount for 1500-2K for all the stuff plus anything inbetween.

I ride a K2 board. I have K2 bindings but I am not a fan of them. I am investing in new ones this winter. I usually board in the poconos because they are easy to drive to. I really like 7 springs out in pittsburgh and the Rockies, but I cant go there all the time or I would be broke.
